The Juwana chairs are woven in Viro HDPE rope rather than cushioned, so there is nothing to bring in when it rains and nothing to store over winter.

Care Instructions

To maintain natural teak's silvery-gray patina, clean it once a year with mild detergent, bleach, and mildewcide; to retain its original color, apply teak sealer regularly, but avoid using teak oil.

Arm Detail / Joinery - Solid teak throughout, never veneer. Joints are fitted and plugged so hardware stays hidden. Left unfinished, the wood weathers to a soft silver-grey.

Frame and Cushion - Cut and fitted by hand in Central Java from community-forest teak. Every piece is sold frame-only or cushioned, in your choice of fabric.

Swatches - Four fabrics chosen to sit quietly against teak as it greys: Sea Fog, Sand Dune, Sea Salt, Driftwood.
